Gay in Malawi? Out? 14 Years Hard Labor.

The first gay couple in Malawi to publicly proclaim their love has been convicted of "unnatural acts" and "gross indecency." The two men face up to 14 years hard labor. According to The Guardian, gay sex remains illegal in 37 countries in Africa. Uganda has proposed the death penalty for homosexuality.
